I don't know about $2.99 for 1 hour of 50% XP boost.
Realistically a player can get about 20 games of Murder in 1 hour. If they gain 100 XP per game, that's 2000 XP an hour. With the 50% boost that's 3000 XP an hour.
Without the booster that extra 1000 XP can be gained in 10 games, which is 30 minutes of playtime.
Basically what I'm saying is $3 almost equates to just 30 minutes of extra playtime.

Don't get me wrong I'm sure plenty of people have already bought it anyways... but that pricing is not for me.

The chance of you getting murderer/detective is based on how many 'tickets' you have. Everyone has their own amount of 'tickets' that increase with each game you play. If you get one of those roles, your chance will reset to a default percentage.

There really is no point arguing statistics.

When you're at 60%, that means there is still a 40% chance of not getting it. Even at 99%, you have 1% chance of NOT getting it. Equally means that when your chance is 1%, you COULD still get it.

Chance is just that, a chance. It's not a guarantee, because that's just not possible.

I know game operates by giving players "tickets" or whatever you call them, and it bases the percentages off the total pool of tickets

In a more complex description, every time you're not murderer you receive a "ticket" (I believe they call it; it's really just a number, and every non-murderer game is +1)
The game adds up all of the players' combined "tickets", and your # divided by the total is your percentage

#

This is why when you join a new lobby your number can go up or down; someone with more/less tickets is in the new lobby which changes the combined total

#

It's still all random luck though, like a hunger games reaping.

I ran the simulation with 1 600 players and 50 000 games. It did fine so I thought "let's up the numbers"
sets players to 16 000 and games to 500 000
2 minutes later

Interesting observation: Current system is spread out much more, but not regularly both ways. Basically it has a group of unlucky players that get murderer much less often, in turn having a larger group that have the murderer role more often

Average number of murderers in 500 000 games is 31250 (1/16th) then I use the formula that variance = square root (sum (Xi-average)/N) where N is the number of players (16000) and Xi is each players murder count

I don’t know if this is the right channel to report bugs, but I’ve played about 400 games of Murder Mystery and I’ve noticed these moments happen to me many times before. Here’s the list of them and what’s happening because of it
(And no, I am NOT salty because this game glitches which means it’s harder to win, I just want these to be addressed)

Range glitches as murderer
-I don’t know why this happens, but other murderers can kill me when i’m 5 blocks in front of them, but when i’m murderer, I can’t even kill people from 3 blocks! I don’t know if it’s my fault, or the hive’s fault, but this can get in the way a lot.
Coins don’t pick up sometimes
-I usually have this moment where I’m getting coins, with a perfectly fine connection, but sometimes coins don’t register when I walk through them, and I have to to all the way back. Again, I don’t know whats causing this
Sometimes, I release the bow but no arrow comes out.
-Usually the murderer is in front of me, so I pull back my bow and release before they kill me. The problem is, I’m still alive, and no arrow comes out! Like seriously, the only thing I can say about this is “What!?”

If this is the wrong area, I am sorry, but I would like to see if there is a possible fix for these things.

I too have noticed all three of those issues with Murder Mystery, as well as an issue with the Sheriff's hat. I have landed on it, and even swatted it, but it doesn't always pick up.

There's some other things to note: How many blocks in do you move? How sharp is the turn you make to go out?

A likely theory to why its happening may be because of the amount of blocks you are away from coordinates 0, y, 0.
