The Hive desperately needs to sort out the hacker situation on Hide and Seek. It's just prolific. And a pain in the a**e having to disconnect and reconnect, remake a party, find another game, all the bloody time.

like, surely its not hard from a server point of view to work out when someones flying in mid air and just hovering 20 blocks above the ground......

I think a big thing to remember here is that anticheat isn't a black/white scenario. We catch a loooot of cheats, and people keep making (and tweaking) a looot of cheats. Infinite cat and mouse.

If you go on a trapdoor before you enter a game then there's a 50/50 chance that you'll go down a block when spawning

Completely harmless bug. Seekers can still hit you

And you can jump to get out

Why isn't there some basic anti-hack functionality on the servers. Reporting is so laborious having to take a video as proof, and uploading it, having to wait until the end of the game (thus wasting your own time) to be able to even see the players name (thats assuming you can still see their name!).

When a basic "hangon a sec, this user is floating in mid air, clearly in a region of the world they shouldn't be allowed to reach" would catch the majority of the cases

Is there no way to just have kill zones so any users who has managed to hack themselves into a barrier block just is killed straight away.

It's hard for people to agree on what the best hiding spot for each map is

A good rule of thumb to follow though is that if you don't get found there often then it's a good spot
