I think it's great how much attention Hive is getting from being partnered and featured but God I feel bad for them. I'm sure it's no big deal for the Hive owners but like I said the effects and consequences bleed down to the playerbase. It's Microsoft's doing, Hive has no control and it's not their fault.

@vivid sierra well uncapping the FPS unironically worsened my FPS.

It started off actually a little better:

noticeably smoother, by just a hair
leaps were even coming back earlier and finish line finished me slightly sooner
But then it started giving me pulses of FPS lag which gradually worsened to the point of it being more difficult to play DR than before
