I think 30 seems reasonable because of how easy it is to complete a round for a runner, therefore it should be pretty easy for a death to also get a win

from my experience the fang trap kills you when you're on a fang and it doesn't if you're on one of the blocks where there's no fang
and i like the water trap as it is because on java it's so slow, especially if the water is going down stairs
there was a change to them so majority aren't as slow but the bedrock version is definitely faster, and gives more kills if you're a death because sometimes people don't stop running and die like 4 times on the trap
and with the potion trap, i don't see anything wrong with it. it does work like the water trap but i would rather have variety to how it looks instead of a bunch of the same 5 traps
also the checkpoint thing is known and will be fixed when they have the time

The fang trap will kill you when you are on a fang like 1 second after the activation of the trap. But if you’re on a fang at the activation of the trap you will not be killed.

Biggest differences i can tell between the three:
Fang trap is delayed, so you either have to activate it early or let the first players passby.
Poison trap is about a block/half a block high off the ground, so it's sometimes much more questionable to leap over. (and in some maps you can jump on the side blocks to be safe)
Water trap is a block down, so while it's easier to leap over players will also be much more committed by jumping inside.

If it's more then one and the traps ahead will gaurentee they won't get to the first checkpoint (like the ice jumps) you can stop it before it's out of hand.
Though there's sometimes that one guy who just wants to ensure you're back with the pack and it often becomes a very tied up race near the end >.>

I have a good tactic for School map where I jump to the first blocks then super leap because most people usually fail on it
Then use super jump again on the Speed Ice part
Fastest time I made on that map was 47 seconds

If I am death, I go for the back/middle because when going for first you get one. But if you go for the middle/back you get like 3, 5, etc.
