Imo, Java is way worse than Bedrock in DR.
First, Java has three strafes that require you to turn, which is not always reliable. The straightforward leap in Bedrock works every time.
Also, you can leap once every 15 seconds instead of three strafes with a 60 second cooldown.
The deaths aren't very overpowered in Bedrock, especially compared to Java.
And you can trust traps a lot more to not hit you where they shouldn't hit you.

What I've noticed is I always seem to adapt to new maps quicker and get the first WR, but then someone who adapts slower, does better in the long run. This has happened on Westrn and Cave xD
