A lot of my umbrage is directed at the post-black metal stuff and the post-rock fanbase specifically.

For The First Time has a really aggressive, angst, cheeky tone that represents a lot of similar bands e.g. Fontaines DC or Black Midi. What does Ants from Up There sound like? It sounds like a soundtrack to a movie or something, but it isnt quite orchestra, chamber/baroque rock???? i dont know lol

oh and i forgot to mention the obvious For The First Time 'slint tribute act' thing lol
