Reclaiming the Original Identity: One of the most significant burdens on the game's performance and budget was the move toward "Full-Body Avatars." Rec Room’s unique identity was built on its original style, which millions loved. Reverting to the classic avatar system would significantly reduce technical complexity, lower maintenance costs, and align with what the majority of the community actually prefers.
Suspending the Partner Program (Earnings): To navigate this financial crisis, the payout system should be temporarily suspended or completely overhauled. This would allow the company to stabilize its finances before re-introducing a more sustainable, strictly regulated earning model in the future.
Focused Security & Technical Overhaul: During the temporary shutdown, efforts should be prioritized toward eliminating hacks, security breaches, and core technical glitches that have hindered the user experience.
