try to configure it to black
just recoloring sometimes doen't work

You can get some things to be a sliiightly darker black if you make a custom colour and put the lightness slider on the right all the way down, or manually type in the hex #000000 (it actually can't stay on that specific colour, but it will automatically change itself to the nearest colour which is slightly darker than regular black)
