Well, it's not that big of a deal, AI is most likely to do small jobs like this as it saves people lots of time.
It's scummy. AI models have to have an image input, which 90% of it is taken from creators without permission. Using AI just encourages them to keep doing that.
True.
But it's the only way the AI can learn unfortunately, unless they have a singular guy drawing millions of different kinds of pictures/drawings in millions of different art styles.
But there should be form of system where the creator is credited.
Or, better idea. PAY the artists for the samples rather than steal them and throw them into your algorithm where it pumps out garbage that looks the same half the time.
If they paid every creator they would be billions in debt
Then don't use them. Simple.
AI feeds off actually competent artists and its a scummy practice.
It will unfortunately be used no matter what, and I 100% agree with you that they should be paid, but this world works in ways that not everything is fair.
