There is a cap to how many boxes you can get a day. Currently I'm not on top of how many or what the current reset time is as it may have changed and I am out of date. I'll see if I can find it

To my knowledge, box limit is 10. However the First game of the day is included in that. The Daily Challenge box is not (according to Dave). Last I was aware, the First game of the Day box resets at Midnight for your respective time zone (which also resets the Activity Complete boxes too). The Daily Challenge box has a separate reset time.
