As I was building a room today, I finished designing it and all, and came to the realization that there isn’t any way to create Room Destinations besides doing it manually. With the introduction of much larger sizes of data making primitive options such as execution string switching not feasible, Rec Room should update Room Destination chips to be compatible with newer technology. At current, you put in a value manually and that’s how it checks, which makes sense. But adding a chip which would allow you to convert a string to a room destination would open up door for myself and other creators. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

I'm personally confused on what you are asking. There are destination chips and doors. Like all things to control where people go, you have to program it to happen.

Let me try to clarify. I think Rec Room should add a parse destination chip which allows you to convert a string to a room destination value.

The only way to do it right now is with execution string switches, which only works if you have premade room destinations.

I want to be able to make room destinations during the course of gameplay

Why would you not have premade destinations? You can't send someone to a place that does not exist yet.
