I don't know if there is an alternative to this like CV2 and what not but it just doesn't look at me or objects it could also be because of the room I'm in

on the side of the look at gizmo theres a zero, configure the zero to a 1

It can only look at tags and roles. Make sure any object you want to track is tagged correctly, and any player you want to track has the correct role.
