Regardless of how well the voice mod system may or may not be functioning, it currently produces a large amount distrust from the community. People are confused, people are upset, and the recourse they have is impractical. If a player wants to dispute a mic ban, than they would have to be constantly recording all public interactions, just to cover their back. It doesn’t help that the general consensus is that bans don’t take effect immediately after an infraction is detected. It also doesn’t help that ban doesn’t specify what exactly it thinks it’s heard. Until these issues are fixed, the user base will never trust the system in place, regardless if it works or not. I believe this system should be temporarily revoked until implemented properly.

Even if you do record your entire play session, which I usually do in public spaces, it is practically impossible to prove you were banned for whatever you think you recorded. They don't tell you the phrase, a time or location that it happened. Just, that it happened and you are now banned. You could spend 1 hour in the Rec Center and somewhere in the first 10 minutes it registered something risky and in the last 10 minutes it considered your speech to be of higher toxic score and decided it is worth the ban. Even if you gave the whole hour for your appeal, they are not going to review it. They really do need to give better details on what you are getting banned for from this automated system.
