Try restarting things, like a reboot of the Xbox, router and modem, see if that helps. Usually the reason to be dropped to your dorm without any errors is due to a slight intersuption in your network and with WiFi, that can happen from anything. Like for isntance your PS4 could be blocking the signal to the router from your Xbox because of the position it is in or something.

I reset my router it didn’t work i reset my xbox it didn’t help

Interesting, so it was something most likely interrupting the signal between your router and Xbox.

That is the issue with wireless items in general, they all have an FCC warning on them for a reason, that says "(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation."
