Howevery old outdated devices eventually can's support stuff, and lose all support.

Such as Xbox, Xbox 360, Ps, Ps1, Ps2, SNES, Gamboy, ect.

Quest one should lose any multiplayer support it still has soon.

A few years after Quest three comes out the same will happen with the Quest two, as due to how much more powerful Quest three is, people will stop making games that can run on it, and they have no reason to support it.
