I've run into a very hefty problem, you see about 2 days ago i was IP banned from rec room by someone else. I submitted an appeal to find out why i was banned and it stated that someone under my network got me IP banned. I looked this persons user up on rec.net and found that we are not even friends. I believe that I was hacked and I really don't know what to do. My brother and I play on pc and this user plays on Vr. I dont know how he is using my Wifi but i really need help because this was a 21 day ban.

Hi, @fading sentinel!
It looks like this post might be about bans.
For all matters ban-related, you can find more info here: https://recroom.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/4419815401239-Appealing-Bans-Other-Restrictions
Rec Room does not discuss bans publicly, nor will anyone on the Rec Room Discord be able to help with ban appeals.
The only way to handle it is through a request on Zendesk. Nothing can be done here.
If you are indeed IP banned, then you shouldn't be able to access rec.net from your device either. But, the fact you are IP banned has nothing to do with your friends list or even your account directly. It has to do with someone on your network. For instance, if you are using some college networks it could look like it is coming from anyone in that college. Or, if you truly have your own internet service provider, someone could be using your WiFi. You can try a VPN service and see if that lets you in the game.
The fact you say you have a person to look up sounds like you have an associated account ban, not an IP ban. This would mean that a person that used any of your devices that your account had been logged into, has been banned. For instance, you went to a friends house, logged in on their device, then that person got banned recently. As far as Rec Room knows, you are the same person as you have used the same device. Regardless, the only thing that can be done is to work with the support team on Zendesk to remove associated accounts and if it is IP related, find out more about your local network.
