I am unable to use my microphone on Rec Room. I have tried using the Steam Launcher and the Rec Room Launcher and none seemed to work can anyone help me with this issue?

Can you explain? Does you mic work fine but it doesn't get sent out in Rec Room?

Have you checked your in game audio settings to make sure your voice is enabled?

@wild vortex I am able to use my mic in other things when I use my computer but only when it comes to Rec Room I am unable to use it.

@hidden spruce Yes I have enabled my microphone in Rec Room and checked many times and my audio should be going through.

This is with flat screen mode? You sure the device is set right in Steam, like to Windows settings or is it to a specific device?

You can try deleting the registry key and cache folder for Rec Room, that might fix it.

Cache folder typically in:
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\LocalLow\Against Gravity\Rec Room

#

In the Windows bar, type RegEdit. It will show as Registry Editor. CTRL+F or Edit>Find and search for Against Gravity. It should come to a folder under Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Against Gravity and it has another folder Rec Room under it. Delete that Rec Room folder and try again.

When you say try again do you mean download the game again or just start it up as normal?

@hidden spruce I deleted the files and it didn't seem to change anything but my graphic settings. My mic is still unable to be heard.
