Sometimes it just bugs out and you happened to catch the reset point at a bad time. Many things in Rec Room reset at 12:00 AM GMT, so if you were playing both days in between that time, which can be easy since that is like 8PM EST Friday and still the same day at 10AM Saturday, you won't get more boxes.

Fly. I do find that annoying on flat screen, but if you fly, it becomes stable.
