i strongly feel that the reporting system screws players over more than actually serving the real purpose like punishing/banning the players who fail to follow the Code of Conduct.

Why should legit players be punished/banned/timedout etc just because some childish players decided to falsely spam report their account? i feel like this is WAY more important than talking about the future of Rec Room aka “Full Bodies”.

as a person that spends a lot on this game it really is demotivating

I do agree that the reporting system can and has been abused, even accidentally, and then becomes harder to appeal the ban even if you have evidence. They have even stated that they don't review many videos of appeals, they just look for their evidence on the reports. Which then, there could be better appeals if they gave people specifics on the report, but they don't. They keep it all generic and misleading as they claim to not want to give to much detail so people can circumvent the system.

If they said on XY day between A-B hours, you were reported for saying "bad words". Then, someone that likes to record all of their public interactions, like myself, could go back and see where that was said. Then either realize "Ohh, I did say that" or show that clearly, it was someone else in the room. But, they don't. So, you just ponder what you think you could have done wrong and either go into a mode of "I won't talk to anyone" "I won't go into public rooms" or "F' it, I'll just keep doing what I do and get reported again."

To some extent I get it. They don't want me to then go back in my video and see the person that filed the report and then turn it against them. If it was a false report, I feel like it should be used against them, so they can get in trouble for false reporting. But, some people rather use it for vengeance and get all of their friends to false report them for something else.

Regardless, moderation in general is a tough subject. It is demotivating to know that at any moment someone can get you removed from the game for minutes to years just because they want to.
