#

get local player - hook it to get position and get rotation

#

the pos and rot of the player is the pos and rot of their head

get local camera position

i think they meant “get local camera rotation”

#

and if you’re gonna use it on a respawn chip or set transform then also use “if player is local” so that it only works for 1 player.

do you just want it to stick on their head?

#

cause if so the subtract chip is what's fucking you over

#

yeah then you wont need subtract and that vector create

#

thats whats making it appear all goofy

#

you need to set position and rotation to the players head pos and rot and if it still seems off then you need to change the pivot on the object

#

literally just get position of whatever player you wnat

#

want

#

hook up get local player to the get position

#

change pivot position

#

okay well thats a whole other cup of noodles

#

but i'll help you out rq

#

go in your maker pen settings and make sure you have "show pivot" on

#

then click on your object and make sure its perfectly aligned on grid snapping 90 degrees

#

if you cant get it perfectly aligned then tell me

#

and then once you get it aligned then you'll wanna edit the object

#

you'll see the pivot: white box with the colored arrows

#

create a square on grid snapping and click on it and select "center pivot on selection"

#

delete the square

#

you should now have a new pivot

#

then you'll wanna fit your object around the pivot, keep in mind that the blue arrow points to the forward direction

#

so have the face point in that direction

#

test out the mask system, if its off then go back in edit mode and adjust
