Hi, I created Spray Paint Gizmo Invention. It can really spray paint on the canvas. If you are interested, can you try it and let me some feedback? I am not an artist, so I am quite curious what can talented people do with it.

I created just few basic colors and after some beta-testing I can upload the rest of the palette. But you can recolor the marker pens to get other colors (if I set the permission correctly)

Hi! I updated the spray paint gizmo.
It has now two separate rotating sets of marker pens
You can find the Version 2 in the invention store. (Red and Blue for now, I'll add the rest of the colors later) #spraypaint
The only downside is the ink cost: 16% (and also it sometimes launches itself into the space 😄 )

So...after few days of development (and weeks of testing) I finally published Spray Gizmo V2 in multiple color variants.

You can find it now in the invention store - hashtag #spaint2

It starts spraying when you point it to the canvas (the object has to have tag: #artcanvas)

You can change the intensity of spraying by touching the nozzle (wait 0.5s to change)There are 4 levels of intensity (+0 as off) + you can get the spray closer to the canvas to get "quickbrush" effect

There are multiple colors from the Rec palette, but I haven't time to add all of them.

You can recolor it by Select->[Select whole invention]->Recolor->Your new color.Also for deletion use Select->[Select whole invention]

The downside is it takes ~16% of the room ink.

When you color some of the pens with one color and the other with second color, you can get some cool texture effect .

It's still a kind of beta, so let me know any issues or improvements you would like to see.

Tested only on PC version of RecRoom and shortly with Oculus Quest player

Known bugs:

It's a bit slow.

Sometimes it crazy bounces randomly around whole room

Other people disconnects/crashes when you use the spray. You may crash as well. (Works OK when you are only person in the room)

It probably kills Oculus Quest RecRoom app. 😄
