Smogon Discord Winter Seasonal II

Welcome to the second edition of the Smogon Discord Winter Seasonal tournament! This is a Double Elimination, Bo3 tournament using SV/SS/SM OU as the format! The first game will be SV OU, and the loser will pick between SS OU and SM OU. If a third game is to be played, the unplayed format will be played.

Rules & Tournament Format

General Tournament Rules

  • This is a tournament that will employ the standard rulesets for SV/SS/SM OU.
  • Rounds will be Best of Three.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!. If you can't agree on which server to play on, the Smogtours server is the default option.
  • Saving replays is required and must be posted in each winpost starting in the second round.
  • Any tier changes that occur during a round will not take effect until the next round.
  • This tournament will contribute towards the SmogCord Circuit Playoffs 2025, with prizes up to and including a Custom Avatar!
  • @idle parcel will be the primary host, while @dawn sierra and @remote briar are the tournament organizers.

The deadline will be March 9th at 11:59pm GMT -4.

For an explanation on this, the bracket numbers got a bit screwed up so we need to do some things that I will not concern you with to get things back on track.

Matchups that are behind (Winner of x vs y) your deadline will be Sunday 8th at 11:59pm GMT-4 but if you need an extension do let me know. For your match after that keep me looped on what extensions are needed and I'll be flexible.
Everyone else your deadline is Monday 9th at 11:59pm GMT-4. I am also flexible with extensions with this but to a lesser degree than the above.
