Please allow placing ships on top of (at least charged) Ixe Cores. They're constantly randomly preventing you from being able to position something. As a secondary issue, it'd be nice for them to either not cost energy, or for the packets sending to be toggleable. CW4 allowed to toggle Totems. Ixe cores, once you "free" them, constantly drain the resource, even if in small amounts.

While I agree they can be annoying, don't forget that you can pause and place. It'll help with the pesky jumping around 🙂

I do agree it can be worked around, I just don't see the point in them having any sort of collision at all
I there's any gameplay intent behind this, then I can get behind it

well, i was under the impression they're sort of supposed to get in the way. whether it's something that makes sense or not, i never really thought about

#

they're meant to be your enemy, so it makes sense for them to annoy you the only way they know how

Even when charged, IXE cores get in the way of your (Mostly only goal.): Leaving the star system, I would think their properties still exist when charged.

Then again, I'm not entirely certain what "charging them" does outside of being able to destroy them later.
