Asalamu alaikum, I wear this chain and have been for 2 months. People compliment it all the time, but today it randomly broke in a weird spot right before fajr. I'm fixing it now, but I had heard somewhere that when things like that happen abruptly, someone may have been giving you nazar and the item took the brunt of it instead and protected you. This was via word of mouth but is there legitimacy to this?
