I took a lot of inspiration from Ely's songs too.
I've been studying them for a surprisingly long time.
Some of the things I took into account, is when the person in the song is singing the chorus, he generally tends to add notes in the instrument(s) that match the voice as it's going along alongside the other instruments/sounds in the song. A great example of this is More Doors For Me, the Grian HC Season 7 Remix.
Something else I experimented with was the laugh set he generally tends to add at the end of each song, which at this stage is sort of like Ely's signature. A good example of this is also More Doors For Me, at the end.
Mine didn't go very well in this part, probably because I only used one laugh sound from the video when I could have used more, even from other videos too.
All in all, I think it was decent for my first ever remix, and I am typing this all up at 22:44pm for me, boutta go to bed.
