Once owned the original back on CD-Rom and remebered the Train level should play its accompanying track "The Train" from the CD. Unfortunately, all the releases since (DOSBox, GOG and now the Remaster) have somehow messed this up which worsens the intended experience. Would love for this to addressed. Afterall, the music is a key part to the game's feel and having levels like The Canyon without "Anna's Theme" or The Cliffs without "Two Feathers" woulnd't be the same. Thank you!
#Music for Train level is incorrect

If the soundtrack placement was based on GOG/Steam release, then this is probably not the only incorrectly placed OST. I remember there were quite a few issues with the first digital releases in this respect.
I'm sure it isn't the only track, but it was the one that was the most obvious and unfortunate. Hopefully they have the right info from whatever they gathered from LucasArts. They also spoke to Clint Bajakian, shoulda asked him. 😅
So I've got a bin/cue of the original Portuguese release. It plays the same tracks as what we've got for that level. In addition we've got the original repo and there's only a single revision for that level's music script, and it's what we have. I have a bin/cue for v1.0 Build 3 of the game, and it's the same as what we have. What version do you remember playing?
I had the version that realsed in Australia, PC-CDROM where the music plays off the CD. Now I'm wondering if I have a false memmory! In the meantime, I'll try dig up my original copy and put it to rest.
Yeah it's possible. Good luck finding! Our CDs usually vanished back home.
This is still an issue in the latest version. ~~I just tested the steam version I'm running and the train track plays correctly.~~I'm not convinced, retesting
