Oh, that's right, I thought there was something weird about it. Although it seems like in only bounces perfectly in GZDoom (and maybe some other ports), in the original it's a bit unreliable, and can sometimes fail to bounce, just like in the Nightdive version.

Yeah I noticed this too. You're supposed to be able to bounce the warrior Flechette off of walls. Like, using it to bounce around corners to hit enemies a bit. (I don't play GZdoom, tested on Dosbox)
