While we all know licensing anything 007 related is basically impossible (thank heavens for Agent 64 and GoldeneyeSource), I figured I'd throw this one out there since it was such a dope, more violent off-shoot I'm sure many missed out on! I mean you could grab enemies and yeet them like The Punisher, hack guns like Syndicate, generate bullet shields, and see thru walls like Perfect Dark. what happened to this game was pretty tragic. the devs had to cut basically every set piece and gameplay idea that wasn't related to shooting dudes out thanks to EA's tight deadlines and having to do an engine upgrade in the middle of development

#

plus it dragged down TimeSplitters Future Perfect with it as EA decided to put their advertising budget all behind this game

#

there's some cool ideas in here but what got released is very repetitive

#

this video has an interview with one of the game's lead writers who talks about what happened during development

This is one of those games that I remember playing way back in middle school. It was quite a unique experience, but I can't remember exactly where I got to during the game.
