I was mulling over the sniper, and attaching scopes to the gun. it feels like not having some sort of magnified scope just isn't right, and holo sights look out of place.
So I thought that maybe, a big fancy scope could be some sort of reward, but for what metric? upgrades are the only stat tracking metric related to gameplay, so that was my go too. a fancy high power scope as a reward for fully upgrading the gun at the smith's.
which got me thinking that we could have something similar for other classes. something like a bayonet for the rifleman - provides an instant melee kill, but with a cooldown, like a charm. and a big old chunky scope for the sniper which highlights enemies like heat vision, but magic.
