vrchat have its own camera for vr and if you in desktop, you can do screenshots even without steam or app..
you can even not open steam and press F12 and game will save screenshots in good resolution in your "Images" folder

Spam... lol. I was just impressed. Most terrains in VRC just end in nothing or water or use a skybox or hover in space.
The only reason not to use horizon on would be the price or if you actually want an island.
And and under 1ms render time with 1400fps should run even on the quest.

@jade venture It is just a "cardboard" background for the terrain but it looks much better in VR than a simple skybox with a landscape. Not sure if the shaders used will work on android. I don't own a quest to test it.
EDIT: There is a sample scene named "mobile" in the package so I guess it would run on quest. Performance is even better.
