If you don't have access to your 2FA authenticator, and didn't save the recovery codes. Your only option to potentially recover your account is to contact #vrchat-support

I was thinking of a way to share a private avatar. If i make my friend upload an avatar, then he get the pipeline maganager's ID and give it to me. Then i upload my private avatar using this ID. Will it update the avatar for him in the game too? And both being able to share the same private avatar? If it work it could be a good way to make change to this avatar and reupload for both of us without having to send him the files and make him upload it too. Does that make sense?

Just an open letter to the community in general. I just want to say I frickin' love this community. That is an unfortunately common issue on VRChat, it should resolve itself eventually. Try expanding and minimizing the group the avatars are in, that may refresh it.

There's t o n s of different reasons for that, usually stemming from your specs, or the optimization of the avatars and world you're in

At the top-right of the safety settings are some performance options - setting the minimum displayed avatar rank up to Poor or Medium could help out a lot, and setting the graphics preset down and lowering/disabling antialiasing could help, too

the game relies entirely on user-generated content, so you're unfortunately at the mercy of however much optimization people decide to do on their content

coming from someone who lags a lot on PC, here's the advise I can give:
generally, if it's the GPU lagging, I find that's usually the world that's doing it for me, so if you tone down graphics settings in the world, or tone down the game's graphics quality and that'll help

if it's Memory, CPU, or Disk that's the issue, that's usually avatars for me. set minimum performance down to poor or medium, and if that doesn't work set everyone's avatar but your friends' to be hidden

Once you're in, look for an avatar pedestal (they tend to look like a flat cylinder with an image of the avatar above it) and click on that. You've now changed your avatar! c:

a bit complicated to answer on the graphics because user-generated content on vrchat and maps on vrchat cap at 100 MB on quest so not terribly long to load
