I own a Samsung odyssey + and I definitely recommend it, with some caveats: it's wmr, so implementation is janky and stuff breaks sometimes depending on updates from any number of sources; you definitely need a couple of basic comfort mods to make long sessions bearable, like the head strap and a better face pad; it leaks light pretty badly depending on face shape, and its smallest ipd setting isn't actually that small

But beyond those things it's great. The visuals are excellent, theres no screendoor effect at all, the inside out tracking is really good

But in terms of price, the quest and quest 2 are the most approachable, especially since they can be used standalone. The rift 2 and odyssey + are about the same price I think. Then you get your Vives and cosmoses and indexes and so on

It happening on a consistent basis could just mean it's not related to your PC in specific.

If it is a connection issue, you having problems with AWS is not really on them.
