Yeah the quest is a mixed bag, you get the capability of a wireless headset but the drawback is that the hardware has limitations as to how much it could load and unfortunately vrchat it’s one of those games that requires a heavy load in format

It need to be easier to report a user within VR-Chat, today I ran into a group racist that used the N-word in a hatefully manner and also very bad things about Jews, Homosexuals, and handicapped people. I did point and click on them, but in that menu I can copy avatars and block them, but not "Report". The short time I been on VR-Chat this have become more common, and then one of the racist that was very hateful towards Africans where a "Trusted User" I guess it is little chance folk are banned for this.

Well, the thing is i want a better tool, like I point on a user and get the info, then click on REPORT and VR-chat create a text document with with time, location, user name and instruction where to sent ti and maybe with a snapshot, then and area where I can add an description.

The report tool would be to help create an report, it would be hard for the game to create a video and that is up to the user, but I often do not record when I am in world.

But I would love to see options like "Report User", "Report avatar" in same way there is "Report world", it do not need to work in the same way. But to remove avatars that racist often use would be a good first step, and in that way VR Chat can see who is uploading and spread them. The sad point is that so many "Trusted Users" are the grifers, trolls and racists.

I have nothing against trolls that are funny or annoying, I talk about folk that is clearly racist.

The big issue about one button reports is the amount of time it sometimes takes to find specific things.

For example, you might report an avatar for racism/nazi symbols.
If there is a swastika on the shoulders or so it would be quickly clear (although someone would have to actually load up the avatar and inspeact it too, which isn't as easy a joining a world)

However, it might not be visible at first and now it becomes problematic, did the user wrongly report? What did they see where?

Hency why you usually want to go to https://help.vrchat.com/new and make a detailed report including proofing screenshots and the like.

I would not report a military uniform that can be taken from a game, it is the stereotypical avatars that is a larger problem. Those avatars are often free to copy and young users may not understand the meaning of them, so it is better to remove the avatars rather than young folk that still do not know get banned for copying an avatar.

They are, I onece was young and landed in a group of racists and I just tagged along and I did feel included, then I grew up, got friends and children that where not straight, got working partners from other countries and first then I understood how stupid I was when I was young.

When I play VRchat albeit I very rarely do since I force myself to control everything I say to prevent being blackmailed. I always record in case a user is violating community rules and can be punished accordingly.
I do this without telling anyone to catch them in the act or the user will stop and probably go to a different world. If nothing happens the footage is deleted.

I have Oculus Quest and when I use a link cable I'm unable to use voice in VR-chat due to a bug, is it the same with Quest 2? I can use voice when I use it as a stand alone, but if I record a video I can not hear my voice.

Any reflective surfaces is known to cause lighthouse tracking to glitch out. This includes windows, glass side panels on computer's, ect

Wmr has higher resolution, but everything else it a bit cheaper
