this reminds me of roblox groups a year ago. when you had their premium subscription you could join more groups, and if it ran out you had to leave so many groups that you were only in 4 (without the premium thing you could only join 5) to join another one

But you need at least blue rank on the account that has the ability to log into the SDK / website

Sounds like you’re playing on a separate account than the one that’s using the SDK, so it’s probably still a visitor

you wont be able to see PC avatars on quest no matter how powerful the Headset is.
PC avatars are compiled for standalonewindows, while quest avatars are compiled for android. To make PC avatars visible on quest, you would still need to upload them to quest. Only way to make it possible is to have Windows running on the Quest instead of Android (which would cause an immense performance loss)

but since there is no way to run Windows on it, you will be stuck with the Quest version of the game (unless you connect it to your PC, but thats another story)

Index headset and controllers have amazing tracking, but the tracking on my vive tracker’s has always been terrible. it’s just more stable to not use them at all

VR games need to be highly optimized in order to hit the frame rates necessary to not make people sick. I don’t think it’s a matter of getting better hardware either. User generated content will always be as laggy as the highest limits allow, or, if there are no limits, they will be as laggy as the minimum possible framerate people can stand.

Last I heard (I don't have a PSVR) the setup isn't totally plug&play, you have to do some level of software fuckery to get it to work and even then I don't know if it'll work with the controllers or what.

The way I'd approach it is: Get a PSVR for your PS4. That'll work. If you can also get it to work with your PC that's an added bonus, but don't count on it.

vrchat has pretty limited graphics settings, and they don't really have a huge performance impact. So if you have 11 fps with the highest settings, you're only gonna max get to like 15 fps by lowering the graphics settings (from my experience)

the real fps savers are the safety settings. auto block all very poor avatars and you should be good, unless you're playing on a potato

no, avatars are ranked depending on how much stuff they have. If you for example upload a unity cube, then its gonna be vrcPerfExcellent excellent, but if you upload a really unoptimized avatar that has like a ton of dynamic bones, polygons, materials and all that stuff its gonna be rated as vrcPerfVeryPoor very poor

1.) make sure you have “Allow untrusted URLs” enabled in your settings.

so quick question.. anyone use VRChat with a bluetooth headset? For some reason when I set my bluetooth headset as the Default Mic in Windows or select it specifically in game my audio cuts out. Can't hear anything, not even UI sounds, when the mic on my bluetooth headset is selected. This headset does work just fine in Windows.

Is possible you mistyped your email. If that is the case you will have to pick a new name as there is no way to verify it was you that registered the name

Hey, is there a way to kick or warn another player in your own private world that you make? I saw in the "Social" option and clicking on my plate that I could kick and warn, though this was in the place where you spawn in when starting vrchat.

This may sound silly, but it is hard for me to use voice, it is like a mental block when I shall try to speak English, I stumble over words, start to think I sound silly, feel stupid and suddenly it is like I can't talk, I get panic and just teleport home, then turn of the voice to just look around in nice locations. Any suggestion how to overcome this?
Just now I can not get the voice to work with Oculus Quest when use a link cable, I did hear it was a bug, so I often use Quest and link cable just to get the feeling it's not my fault I can't speak. Btw, what do you think about silent players that just want to look around and hand around to not feel alone?
