There's not really a solid way of searching. If you see an avatar you like, you can view the author information (click on the person --> it's something like show or view author information). From the author page, you'll see any public worlds they have available. - Copied from R/VRChat

Having alot of trouble launching VRchat. Tried every Bugfix i could find but nothing has an effect. When i try launching via steam (VR and nonVRmode) i get emedeately a window showing a red "!" and then it crashes without logging in or starting anything at all. tried reinstalling several times, clearing reg, updating drivers, deleting cache, deleting appdata, deleting all game files, validating game files after reinstall and cmd-fix (automatic and manuel), i even created a new account on the homepage to find myself to be not able to merge it with my steam account (because i can not launch at all into the application). The game worked some years ago for me on this exact Laptop. but now i wanted to try again with no way to launch. I read that some people can't launch due to the launching avatar being outdated. but i can not reset my avatar to default without accessing my account in steam? i can not access it without launching.. and i can not create a new one to merge with my steam account. what shall i try to do? i would like to play this game and test some of my 3d characters (I am a professional 3d-artist doing gameart) but there is simply no chance for me to access via steam? am i supposed to create a new steamaccount just to play VRchat? I would really love to hear a working bugfix/troubleshoot but i can't find anything that is helping me out on this. Is this due to the last patch? (read that alot of people have trouble launching)
Would be very appreciated if someone could help me out here or maybe tell me what option are left for me.
I guess if i just could reset VRchat on my steam to let me create a new account via steam, it would all be fine n dandy, but there seems to be no chance to do that?

Maybe someone from the team or a wise fellow player can help me? that would be fantastic!

If your avatar is set up to work with VRChat using CATS in Blender, then it should auto have a walk animation (I believe)

And yes, you would have to edit the legs to stay still (Probably remove the bones or something)

@deft temple yes the SDK includes example controllers with a full set of default animations. These will be used unless you provide your own and replace them

Related to those animations, I've seen a few people just sit down (using an animation I'd assume). Is that not possible in VR say I was playing in Seated mode (and not with FBT) ? Just out of curiosity

If you go to the VRChat website and log in, then go to the worlds tab, you can Launch worlds from there (It may try to launch it in SteamVR, even without the headset)
