Using steamvr it is possible to have two screens of your game open. The original window can then be turned into a self-cam with the use of the ingame stream camera and the transparency filter built in to it.

As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.

I've done some modelling before but it really was experimental. We wanted to make a simple game and we started learning how to model and stuff. I might just get back to learning that. Looks difficult, but I guess once you have the base of a model you can re-use it so it's not as much work as if you'd be doing everything from scratch all the time vrcThinking

the quest is a standalone vr headset (no pc needed). It can play vrchat, though only a limited version because of the hardware of the quest, so you can only see quest compatible content on it

the quest doesnt need an android phone. it has a phone processor to keep it small and mobile, and therefore runs a custom android version

you only need a phone for the setup and stuff. You just download the oculus app on your phone, connect the quest and then do the setup

there are rumors of apple working on their own vr/ar stuff so maybe if that comes out and its a mac vr headset then maybe the vrchat devs will make it mac compatible

Also, I really do think the XR2 should be able to see everything but very poor or poor probably

You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner with your VRChat account, walking around, meeting people and also making some friends. Idling won't help.
According to many responses in this discord, a rough estimate would be ** 20-40 hours**, but big exceptions are possible.

Make sure you are not using a steam or oculus account and continue playing the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

The best thing I can suggest to you is not worry about it if someone steals your avatar they don’t care about it as much as you do. They will usually quickly get tired of it. But if someone makes a big deal that other people are stealing it then they get a rise out of it that they’re annoying you

Ripping is generally an issue with basically all games or software, not nessesarily tied to VRChat's security in any way.
You will never be able to fully protect against ripping, even console games aren't save from rippers.
In the end your game client will always need to be able to assemble the avatar to display it, and thus the data to recreate it have to be available in some form (and thus will always be able to be captured.)

You can designate the trackers by ID in SteamVR settings.
But VRChat's calibration should be able to manage without it and just assign the closest tracker to the bone.
