Not directly. Since avatars aren't bound to world's, they're all linked to the creators account. Avatar world's are just calling that avatar's ID number from the creators account.
If someone else is using the avatar, you can highlight them and select "show avatar author", and then from the author page you can see all the world's they've made. but otherwise there's no way to check what world specifically the avatar came from

The problem I've been having is sometimes I am able to click on a avatar for like turning off their avatar or maybe turning it off and other times I can click and nothing happens to where I can't even bring up that menu @valid quiver

Uh PC it's the esc button I believe, hover over the person, select them, hide avatar. VR it's menu button, hover over them with the other hand, select em, hide avatar

Lag aside, it should go through. You know you're selecting them when it has that blue'ish uh, sphere-like thing over their avatar.
A more tedious way is going into the social tab, scrolling through members in the world, selecting them from that menu, and then hide em

also you need to choose these shaders for your world

VRC Definitely uses quite a big of RAM
A big part of that is the often mediocre to badly optimized user content.
Paired with a memory leak here and there, cus unity, yeah. 😛
