The transparency setting is literally at the bottom of the material settings. Just change it from opaque to the appropriate blending mode. And configure the alpha setting as needed.

Well I think I can fathom a guess as to the cause of the 'half a face missing' phenomenon being a case of bad texturing

I've made extremely simple models comprised of polygons before, and the funny thing about 3d textures is that they only display on one face

What I think happened to those 'half a face' models was that the model was likely 'mirrored' so that it wouldn't take as long to model the other half of the model. It's a classic modelling trick for symmetrical figures

#

But if the textures aren't coded to compensate for said mirroring, they show up on the INSIDE of the model instead

#

Considering I've been seeing a not insignificant amount of players in the void club with that texture error though, I think they don't actually care as long as they can gaze upon their sultry body all they want

#

Honestly modelling scares me because it sounds to me the process is much like a sculpter. You just ensure each and every square/triangle on a model is at the exact perfect angle and shape you want it to be like a guy with a chisel

Please forgive me if this comes up a lot but can anyone speak to if the Index controllers are still having issues with breaking a lot? I'm on the Vive and I have a lot of issues with the controllers. I'm tempted to upgrade to Index controllers but concerned about all the stories of them breaking after just a few weeks of use.

I have incredibly fast internet, and my bandwidth isnt an issue, also I'm on a separate 5ghz connection just for my quest ^^;

Uhhhh my whole screen is black and it shows it’s on with my controllers and I’ve tried to turn it off it won’t work pls tell me what to do oh it also has a red dot on the side which mean low battery but it was charging all night I play on quest

Hold the button for about 10 seconds to kinda power cycle it then plug it in and see if it works, mine did something similar the other day
