Log Horizon went 20x better on all the serious topic then SAO ever did

Joined yesterday with a few mates who play Dead Space together.

There was a time where trolls were constantly making accounts just to upload bad avatars on, and then abandon the account for an new one. Over and over, this makes it so you need to prove to the system that you plan to dedicate some time to the account

I would say, if the team are doing that then and they have to read and log these reports why not remove the avatar draconian rule for uploading them and instead have the team review the avatars, because you are doing the same thing with tickets no?

So many options, and trolls don't troll things because it's easy, they troll to get a laugh, they will go to great lengths, but as is always the case the people who follow the rules get hit regardless, kind of like real world Laws, funny that.

Usually I upload avatars in bunches, so I'll do like 3 or 4 one after the other. Having thousands of people uploading avatars and each one being reviewed isn't feasible

Ok, and if you intend to release a game as big as this, or it has got as big as this, I would like to say that's kind of expected. Money does not necessarily need to change hands for that, their are ways but obviously that has not happened, and the choice, take it or pee off.

I just don't agree with it, and I'm just trying to get the feel that it's feedback really.
It won't change so, I'll just afk because what I find enjoyment out of my games are my characters, so it's different for me, and yeah.

To me, it's no different if I was to remove your ability to drive a car in game, because to my character is what I get enjoyment out of.

I live in Greece, Currently all VR Headsets in the Oculus official site are Out Of Stock (cause of the covid-19 i suspect)

I am also not sure that any of our electric-pc shops buy VR Headsets so here is my question,
Where is the most "sure" shop that i could buy it online and have it come Safe and full without any damage in my hands, and in any case if i have a problem i can work out something (heard some problems from players)

while yes you are right you have to remember that not everyone does models like my friend. Id rather just give him the model but he doesnt care about model making and just wants the model. Most models from Deviant Art are already made with other peoples parts

But I'd recommend buying a few booth avatars and items. The premissions on them are relaxed and you don't get anything better than booth models quality-wise. You will likely be able to mix together anything on those models, and the .blends, photoshop files and texture maps and such are included in the downloads, so editing is fairly easy

Nearly all support teams follow a set structure, as long as in the end you get there it's fine i guess.
Allthough from my experience they did actually care about what i wrote on the first ticket.

HTC's support for the vive is actually god awful tho, even for legit warranty cases.

You've probably arrived at first line who can only go off a set script who then escalate it to second line who have significantly more knowledge but typically don't include senior staff and developers, then you get escalated to third line who should know everything about their product and how to resolve issues.

It may be that you are the first one to report this issues specific to your computer hardware/software and they cannot replicate it...

I do this all the time on 3rd line and it's usually the clients software or a specific driver causing issues

I think the vive pro has the same resolution as the wmr headsets, and the res on them is quite good + the vive pro also has OLED so the colors are better. And if I compare my wmr to the og vive I would say the wmr screens are a bit better (and you also dont notice the screendoor effect at all)

In these worlds you also tend to find people streaming and those lads are always chill. Don't get me wrong there are nice people everywhere but most of the time are mute because of all the trolls in huge worlds

Not sure if it's VRChat's fault or Oculus's. but when i walk out of my guardian and back into it, I'll be stuck up in the air in VRChat. if I use sitting mode i go back down to the correct height, but i can't exit sitting mode for the rest of the session or i go up in the air. i can see my avatar down there reaching it's hands up.
