If I had to carry something like this with me, I would use one of those flash drives/external HDDs with hardware encryption and keypad on them. These are pretty secure - screw it up x times and it will nuke all data stored on it itself.

But the idea around it the solution should not be to limit anyone from creating anything like for the next 70 years but instead limit the direct use of that specific content

I don't know anything about 3D modeling, but I will use the VRoid conversion method. Gonna make a model in VRoid studio and then push it through Blender and Unity to make an avatar.

its literally just you running vrc on dated hardware and the extra data from the bluetooth trackers + then stuff like ik loading in in user worlds that uses up your mobo bandwidth

The hardware is honestly not bad, tho overloaded controllers still remain a possible cause.

There are only few "unbreakable" consoles. And those are some of the retro consoles, because they usually used completely of the shelf parts, had almost no moving mechanical parts and didn't need any active cooling that could screw up.

Depends how you care for your HW - overheating, etc. significantly shortens the lifetime of components.

The drill usually is - clean your HW periodically, don't overclock/overpower when not needed and use the right cooling solution. Then it can last ages.

its kinda handy to take an airblower and blow the dust out of your laptop/console for once if you cant open it and for pc just open it and clean the dust

since a fan works the other way around as a motor, you're generating power which's voltage might exceed levels that it shouldn't if it spins too fast.

On mouse and keyboard you can't rotate stuff and change holding distance. And the audio? I have the newer model of XBOX one controller, that has a jack for headset on the bottom next to the extension port. Got it in bundle for PC and connecting through the USB transceiver.

I think they don't get what CUSTOM avatar really mean - you can do anything, no prefabs that limit you, etc. Just polygon count and whitelisted scripts, otherwise anything you can think off.

You can also use vroid studio and then import VRM model. But vroids are pretty basic - for male avatars even more than female ones.

Oh this. I was praising devs decision to make their own component instead of playmaker. I think it could be better integrated + you don't have to pay those 58 euros just to program your world. Don't see any connection to dynamic bones here.

The connection to dynamic bones is that you said people would never use Playmaker because it's a paid Unity product, but so is Dynamic Bones and everyone uses that.

The downside is, it took them an extra 2 years to reach pre-alpha state and isn't compatible with any existing worlds, which is an absolute nightmare and killed all interest for me.

Er, you make bones in Blender, you can't set up Dynamic Bones in Blender, it's a Unity specific piece of software and attaches components to the relevant bones.

USB bandwidth could drop out from CPU resource contention. You could monitor task manager and see if that's the issue, but tbh I'm not certain what's going on.
