Technically you can use PSVR but the app to get it to work isn't free for one, and for the controllers you would need to get your hands on 3 PS3 eyes (cameras) and 2 PS3 move controllers.

And the setup is HELL.

The part about avatar theft that makes my skin crawl, is the aspect of identity theft it carries.

Like my avatar is all made from publicly available parts. Anyone could remake it if they really wanted to, and there's no way to prevent that. And I even respect the effort.

A user that's fairly well known within multiple large communities had their model stolen recently. as far as I know, there was no "identity theft" aspect other than a comment I saw that said "Oh, I thought it was you then saw the name so i thought i'd let you know"
