It's funny, short of Quest users creating Quest content, which I'm guessing many don't, there's no actual way for PC users to even test our content on the Quest if we decided to make it 🙂

It's not just more expensive but AFAIK the CPU is underclocked too due to the problem of overheating

Here's what I would do: Build a desktop PC for your PC games and VR and stuff, and then get a cheaper laptop that can do the things you'd want to do on-the-go

You can open the menue and see if some of the robots do have a quest symbol

Well it's quite easy:

Realize this is a game and there's barely any consequences for messing up
Realize that the people around you usually want to do the same thing that you try to do

What can help is you are in a smaller world that isn't super crowded

#

Try it with fewer people and if it works out, you can feel more confident in larger worlds.
Also, it helps to have friends with you because that way you have someone around who you do feel comfortable with

It's the same deal with me getting in touch with people: I just do it. If it doesn't work, whatever I'll try it again on a different person. Ingame's the same deal, you just join an instance, see what's going on, see if there's anything happening that interests you and if not you go to the next instance until you find one with people that you like

@twilit fiber it’s functionally the same, but technically 1GB of memory is 1024MB. You can’t get 1000MB of memory (unless we get real weird with it...)

It’s also a fun quirk of hard drives - manufacturers advertise with 1GB = 1,000MB, but the system actually reads it as well 1GB=1,024MB, which is why it always appears smaller than advertised

Heya! I was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm looking for one of two things; a world, or it's creator. It was a train world, that drove along what was basically an empty area, with the occasional tunnel, and other trains passing by. It had really relaxing music, a chill atmosphere, and a bunch of characters riding on the train. There was a box of text in the back talking about how those avatars were projects that were never able to be finished.

I can't find this world in my favorites, and I suspect it might be gone, but if anyone has a link to it, knows the creator, or is the creator, please message me! I've missed this world a lot, as it was the perfect place to sleep in VR...
