I think one of the reasons realistic or non-anime/flat-toon avatars arnt popular is because without full control over proper lighting conditions, they tend to look a bit off. In games developers have full control over lighting and how it affects their characters but here in vrchat lighting is made by every map author differently and this can drastically affect how good looking non-flat toon avatars look like.

Nah, they don't "break" physically unless you literally smash/rip them on something. The issues at the moment are - analogue stick drifting (typically manifests after a few months) and (although this one has apparently been fixed now) the analogue sticks not clicking properly in every direction.

So one remaining issue, but the issue here is that it doesn't appear to have been fixed, so everyone's kinda just stuck in an infinite RMA cycle until Valve change the design or fix the sticks themselves.

Right, there's a learning curve and you need to have fingers positioned properly/grip like an idiot to calibrate. You need to get the fit right and you need to set the bungie properly to not feel uncomfortable but still actually hold to your hand.

Not having custom hand poses. Not having analog fist.

But the gesture lock kinda makes up for it a little bit. Not that that will be specific to just the Index controllers forever.

Lol Touch controllers already have an analog stick button that's doing literally nothing in VRC. So they could go ahead and give it to the Touch already and then the Touch will just be the superior controller all over again.

On the ship map one of us got downed and I was non stop occupied shooting advancing enemies to clear a path to even get to him to revive him so we actually won before I even got to revive
