What you want to do is get Equalizer APO and install it to the Vive's mic and do some gentle EQ on it to balance it out.

But it involves taking advantage of a more recently accessible property in particle systems that can cause the particle system's gameobject to disable itself once the particles die.
And this is used to reset an animator that had already played to its last state to bring it back to its first state.
It sounds simple, but people much smarter than me spent a long time getting the timing for this perfectly. But you can use broken subemitters (subemitted particle systems that are not children of the parent emitter) in order to do pretty much anything.

I think we're collectively working on four different features at the same time now.
I'm on a feature by myself that I've basically been just banging out the front-end for and slowly designing the more complicated backend for it so that I can hand it off to one of the newer devs once I leave the company at the end of the week
I love being a dev. Also love leading my team at the same time. Being in a more leadership role has ended up taken a good chunk of time out of my own development time though. :/

The rift S can sense when your fingers are off the buttons, touching them, or pressing them. It uses this for a basic finger tracking, and vrchat has most of the gestures work by doing them for real.
The Vive and wmr just have a track pad and you select the gestures on the track pad.
