creating avatars from scratch is a challenge... trust me I have experiences with that cause my personal-use avatar is from scratch

but boy it's fun has heck and it has taught me some things that I wouldnt expect like seeing how tricky it must be for other media companies like SEGA, Nintendo etc. when it comes to making characters and such... especially 3D model ones

#

probably why I dont bash on other media companies too much for small mistakes or limitations they may encounter in the future especially when it comes to making models for so many characters

#

no matter how much experience you've gain, it's always going to end with a mistake somewhere, no one's perfect

I've spent probably over a month since I started making my avatar's model from scratch, then adding things to it or improving it in certain areas and there's still more room for that sort of thing owo

13 is due to legal reasons. They would not be allowed to save user information of people under the age of 13, so with the age restriction they are removing that responsibility from themselves. They don't care if kids play, but they will have to ban you if you're dumb enough to admit that you're younger than 13 in a place where the staff can see it

I had the same complaint but no-one really gave a good answer, it's strangely cryptic. I think it basically comes down to being friends with Cyan, Fionna or Squid (and to a lesser extent PhaxNoir) and then just joining off them when it starts.

But it seems like it's more an event for veteran world-builders to show off worlds now, rather than the original description which implied it was something to help familiarise people new to VRChat with it and it's worlds.

Far as I understand, VR-Chat originally started as a platform to hold virtual podcasts. Then is became an experimental meeting place of sorts for VR industry leaders, and then gradually grew into the more public form we know it as today.

Of course there has.

#

First there was the particle limiter, and next the safety system to help block them, but ultimately there's no way to ever truely stop it being possible to build a crasher, not without killing peoples ability to create avatars.

Other than that is kind of just down to us to help report them and get them banned.

I'd argue it doesn't really matter that much and it usually isn't that big of an issue either unless you would easily become sick or have a seizure from bad shaders

I have a model that has a collider that's huge. Before I knew I could just animate the trigger module of particles to make them explode. I used this model in that room and I would consistently fall through the floor.

You can walk on a trigger or pass through it. You don't have to hit it manually.

most people that use the rich presence are on a client , used too it was api related but vrchat changed what you can see through the api, so you cant req worlds / people in the lobby now.

i wouldnt recommend using it either way.

-its better just to make your own lobby and open it up too people, thats where the fun is-
