from all the places that I visited so far, one of the worst I found is "Voxel Miko House". On desktop it's fine but in VR it goes down a lot and I don't know why. I guess it's because they use dynamic lighting with real time shadows otherwise idk because the world it's all made of silly models. I have to add tho, that depending on the source of those models, it could also be the reason of the performance hit. Models made with "voxels" may result on a lot of unnecessary polys. But polys rarely gives that hard time. It's a pretty small world, shouldn't have that performance

Anyone know how to fix lag issues?

For some reason whenever I play this game with the screen up it freezes my screen for 10-20 seconds, moves for 3-5 seconds and repeats

If I have the game minimized it functions perfectly at 45-90 fps. I'm playing on the original Oculus Rift

Yeah Fnaf VR is really cool. I'd say it works even better in VR as the game doesn't so heavily rely that you flip your camera up and down to jumpscare you. It's not a "If I open my camera / close my camera, I might get jump scared"

IIRC things got very intensely luck based on night 5 (and especially on those 20 day challenges) that people had to start figuring out some very precise algorithms just to get through it

But if the atmosphere of the level is already making you feel uncomfortable + does a few suspicious things here and there where objects are just in different places, then pretty much anything happening can spook you.

In base game Amnesia, hiding is easy and monsters despawn after they're done with their patrol. Really the only levels where that wasn't the case was the water one

Aka the one level everyone hated because you had a monster that you couldn't see that would chase you if you were in the water.

The best way for them to get to one box to another, especially a far one, is if one can get as much distance from the monster as possible. It's done by throwing a piece of meat at the far end of a corner. It lures the monster, or Kaernk, into that corner.

Needless to say that either way it's terrifying because you hate being in the water, and you need to be in the water to open the second door which takes a while

Also in Amnesia, most enemies announce themselves with a spawn sound + music
I dunno how much you can do in Unity but for the very least having like a Maze with one monster occupying it that will chase you without making it super obvious that it is doing that could work

It wouldn't even break anything for the rest of us. VR users aren't going to send a lot of messages while in VR, being able to do that via the website means you can stay in contact even when you're not ingame right now, you can communicate with friends who aren't in your world and desktop users still have to deal with getting a mic if they want to properly talk

Just something I'd personally like since you rely a lot on either knowing their Discord name or meeting them ingame when both of you happen to be on at the same time

Personally I just don't see any big negatives with a mailing system because it would not replace talking when in the same room. Especially not if it was limited to just messages between friends to prevent people from spamming notifications in yet another way.

And you could combine it with premade replies for common phrases to save yourself some time.

That's also something I'd want: Knowing when a person was last online. Then again, it technically doesn't really matter because ingame I usually just look at who's online, not who's offline and on the website, online friends are always listed on top.

The index has full finger tracking. You dont even need to touch the controller with your finger and it's still tracked. (according to reviews)

I think its kinda like with oculus touch. you do the gestures with your real hand and then it triggers them

Motion of one of them over a certain threshold can cause the rotor speed to vary and the lasers spinning at a very exact speed is critical to tracking.

The other issue is liekly to be reflections off windows.

Try removing the frunk cover, in some cases that can cause reflections at close ranges and cause some tracking issues.

why? they're usualy plug in boxes for the 24v socket.

unless you specificaly want one for fixed installation.

and if they do not come with such a plug you could still install one, just make sure you're not drawing more current that the plug can handle, but since trucks even operate at 24v insted of 12v it shouldn't be an issue at all.
