Note that you need a PC VR headset to see all of VRchat, Quest works but is quite limited in terms of avatars and worlds so you only see a part of the game

That's 5 years worth of VR you're missing out on, so no, I'd say it's not worth it to wait

The Vive requires 3 Vive Trackers for full body to work

But in order to get full body to work on the Oculus, you need the Vive sensors AND the 3 trackers

So the price goes from 800-ish to 960-ish

Vive being 500, trackers being 300, and straps for the trackers being price dependent

Compared to a 400 dollar Rift S, 300 dollar trackers, 270 dollar lighthouses, straps, and an infinite world of frustration dealing with a mixed setup

I use both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

While there are a lot of things to like about the HTC Vive, the Vive Wands aren't one of them lol.
I haven't tried the Index controllers yet, for VRChat I suppose they'd be superior to the Oculus Touch controllers, but the Touch controllers already feel much more like "hands", while the Vive Wand is literally a stick with zero hand presence at all.

I wish the Touch controllers would work with the Vive, but Oculus does not allow you to do that.

ban eavison means your account/ip has some connetion to a account that has been banned

best example would be, someone has uplaoded something for you, or you uploaded something for someone

and if that person gets banned, you're also in for trouble

Often malicious users will use a VPN and if they do get caught that VPN's endpoint ip can get banned, and innocent users can get caught up in it.
