I mean I spend most of my time in busy public worlds, so I'm in the firing line more than most I would assume. But I do take offence to people saying it's safe. If someone was new to the game (and new to VR) then the eye/ear rape like that would be really jarring to them.

Most of is grew up watching cartoon animals, so it stands to reason that some stay attached and like the style. True there are some who go overboard, but really the majority of people in that category are not like that.
The whole stigma really is unfair, especially when you look at the anime community, some of the things that are acceptable there.

Oh, that reminds me. It's almost like VRC is screwing my cache now. Every time I open VRChat, I have to download worlds again. It's fine if I stay in VRChat, but as soon as I exit the game and go back in, everything has to be downloaded again. I'm guessing that's not deliberate. Anyone know what's wrong?
