For example; 3D Scanning of Food; know a local resturant? Want to be able to sell the product to them to 3D Scan their food? Easy 100 bucks; at your local resturuant; unless they want to show the entire menu.. 500 bucks lmao

They're constantly working on security and patching the game. Unfortunately since unity is so open, people keep finding new ways to do these things, and the dev team is always working to keep up.

In case it's acting like a lunatic, just kill the process in task manager and wait for unity processes to halt. Then launch your project again and immediately check the sdk settings.

Is it just me, or is VRChat extremely fragile? The servers are fucked, loading takes ages for some, the SDK signs me out constantly, erasing my attempts at writing the upload info, when I tried to make my first avatar, the SDK refused to let me sign in by closing the window after 2 seconds, forcing me to ninja-style copy paste my credentials in the blink of an eye, etc etc etc...

On top of that, it seems important if people have NSFW textures and geometry or not. If your chest is just a smooth surface (like a barbie doll) it seems to be alright

Vrchat motion controls, IK and internal animations all animate humanoid bindings. If your avatar does not have humanoid bindings, it will act as a static model unless you supply your own animations

Setting humanoid isn’t enough though you do have to tell it which bones of the avatar are which humanoid bone

Just because something isn't humanoid does not mean you shouldn't use the humanoid rig, if you want to use VR you should always use humanoid. @cold talon

You might have some issues with the tpose, if you are missing vital bones or it can't tpose it then it won't be humanoid

Yeah, if any key bones are incorrect (any missing or too many in the wrong places) it will prevent it working as humanoid.
Also, what's this "Avatar Controller" thing you're talking about? Unless you mean the Avatar Descriptor component (where viewpoint and visemes are set), then I don't think you need whatever you have there.

Far as I understand, if you fix errors via the rig config in Unity, that should work but isn't actually changing the model, so next time you configure it still reads from the models default pose.
You shouldn't need to, but if you fix the T-Pose in blender instead, that will stick permanently.

That's normal. You don't need and shouldn't have the upper chest mapped.
VR-Chat itself doesn't use the upper chest, and it will break if you map it.

As far as I know, setting up a basic avatar can be done in under 30 minutes, possibly under 10 minutes even. There's a lot of tutorials out there. Yes, you need to learn how 2 use Unity and likely also Blender + figure out where you're going to get models from unless you want to make those yourself too and then you can start small and make some basic avatars. I mean, I know you just want that one back but I'm just saying that if ya have something on your own, no one can take it away from you

@vocal shard Becoming verified by the trust system is based on reaching a not time based trust score, which's exact algorithm is unknown to prevent exploitation.
You presumably need to play the game in a normal manner with your VRChat account, walking around, meeting people and also making some friends. Idling won't help.
According to many responses in this discord, a rough estimate would be 20-40 hours, but big exceptions are possible.
Make sure you are not using a steam or oculus account because those can not be verified and continue playing the game until you get a notification or e-mail.

@sage cliff You need 40+ hours, a bunch of friends, few/no blocks. Being registered via VRChat rather than Steam helps but isn't required. That's pretty much it.
