@vocal shard the emotes are renamed and named differently based on the author's. Sometimes its dance animation or just some custom animation for fun.

Only complaint they ever had was it's laggy as fuck even though they were running reccomended spec's. So make sure you are just a bit over that.

@atomic tusk From what I heard, you can manually enabled/disable gestures connecting to animations. So, you can fingergun and get your default finger gun animation, or disable that and just move your fingers.

How you do that, I'm unsure, I just know it's an option for those with the glove controllers.

In the older days of VRC when things were less optimized thanks to unity I recall some rift users having problems with their tracking when mirrors were present and I think it was resource use-based.
